Kyle Pitts Biography

Kyle Anthony Pitts Sr. was born on October 6, 2000, and has played as a professional football tight end in the National Football League. He earned unanimous All-American honors and won the John Mackey Award in 2020 while playing college football for the Florida Gators. Pitts was selected fourth overall by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2021 NFL draft, a record for the highest draft position by a tight end. He appeared in 11 games during his true freshman year at Florida in 2018, contributing as a backup. Pitts was named First-team All-Southeastern Conference for his performance during the season. During the 2020 season, he recorded 12 touchdowns, 770 receiving yards, and 43 receptions in eight games. In his NFL debut during Week 1, he made four receptions for 31 yards in a 6–32 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
