Kenny Pickett Biography

Kenny Pickett, born June 6, 1998, is an American professional football quarterback who has played in the National Football League. At Pittsburgh, Pickett won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 2021 and earned ACC Athlete of the Year the following season. Selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2022 NFL draft, Pickett served as the primary starter for two seasons and helped secure a playoff berth in 2023. As a junior, he led the Ocean Township Spartans to a 9–2 record and reached the New Jersey Central Group III semifinal game. In his senior year, 247Sports ranked Pickett as the No. 23 overall high school football player in New Jersey. Over his high school career, he passed for 4,670 yards and 43 touchdowns while rushing for 873 yards and 17 touchdowns. Pickett spent most of his true freshman season at Pittsburgh in 2017 as a backup to Max Browne and Ben DiNucci.
