Kenny Easley Biography

Kenneth Mason Easley Jr., born January 15, 1959, played his entire NFL career as a safety for the Seattle Seahawks from 1981 to 1987. He earned three-time consensus All-American honors during his college football tenure at UCLA. Easley was chosen by the Seahawks in the first round of the 1981 NFL draft. His career concluded after the 1987 season due to a diagnosis of severe kidney disease. After retiring, he operated a Cadillac dealership and later owned the Norfolk Nighthawks from 1999 to 2003. He recorded 19 interceptions and 374 tackles during his college career from 1977 to 1980, along with 45 punt returns for 454 yards. In 1983, under head coach Chuck Knox, Easley became the foundational player on the Seahawks' defense.
