Kenneth Anderson, born on October 9, 1970, is an American former professional basketball player. Kenny Anderson played as a point guard in the NBA and other professional leagues from 1991 to 2006 after his college tenure at Georgia Tech. Kenny Anderson chose Georgia Tech in November 1988, committing to the Yellow Jackets after considering offers from North Carolina, Duke, and Syracuse. As starting point guard at Georgia Tech, Anderson contributed to the team's 1990 Final Four appearance alongside teammates Dennis Scott and Brian Oliver. Anderson was selected by the New Jersey Nets with the second pick in the 1991 NBA draft. In his second season, Anderson significantly increased his point, rebound, and assist averages, contributing to the Nets' 1993 NBA playoff appearance. On April 15, 1994, Kenny Anderson achieved a career-high 45 points and recorded 14 assists in a game against the Detroit Pistons.
