Kelvin Benjamin Biography

Kelvin Benjamin, born on February 5, 1991, is an American former professional football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League. He played college football for the Florida State Seminoles and was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft. After recording over 1,000 receiving yards in his rookie season, Benjamin missed his second year due to a torn ACL. He returned in 2016 and recorded 941 receiving yards and seven touchdowns during that season. Midway through 2017, Benjamin was traded to the Buffalo Bills and appeared in six games with the team. With his performance declining and effort questioned, the team released him during the 2018 season. After being redshirted in 2011, Benjamin played in all 14 games in 2012, recording 30 receptions for 495 yards and four touchdowns.
