Keenan Allen Biography

Keenan Alexander Allen, born on April 27, 1992, is an American professional football wide receiver. He played college football for the California Golden Bears prior to entering the NFL draft. He was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft. Allen earned multiple rookie honors after setting franchise records for receptions and receiving yards. In 11 seasons with the Chargers, he became a six-time Pro Bowler and joined the 10,000-yard club. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he started at wide receiver from 2010 to 2012. As a sophomore in 2011, he recorded a career-high 98 catches for 1,343 yards.
