Justin Fields Biography

Justin Skyler Fields born on March 5, 1999, is an American professional football quarterback who plays in the National Football League. He played college football at Ohio State after a brief stint with Georgia, earning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2019 and 2020. Fields was selected in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft by the Chicago Bears, later achieving 1,000 rushing yards in a single season. His time with the Bears was marked by inconsistency and limited success, leading to a trade to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024. In October 2017, Fields committed to the University of Georgia, withdrawing a prior pledge to Penn State. During his true freshman year in 2018, he served as the backup to Jake Fromm at Georgia. In 2018, he played in 12 games, recording 328 passing yards, four passing touchdowns, 266 rushing yards, and four rushing touchdowns.
