JT Daniels Biography

Jonathan Tyler Daniels, born on February 2, 2000, is an American college football coach and former quarterback. He played college football for the USC Trojans, Georgia Bulldogs, West Virginia Mountaineers, and Rice Owls. Daniels earned starting duties as a freshman and received full play-calling responsibility as a sophomore. Mater Dei remained ranked #1 throughout the season, winning all games by at least 10 points in CIF's Division I. Following Slovis’s emergence, Daniels entered the NCAA transfer portal on April 16, 2020. On May 28, 2020, Daniels announced his transfer to the University of Georgia. Before the 2020 season, he competed with Jamie Newman, D'Wan Mathis, Stetson Bennett, and Carson Beck for the starting role.
