Jeff Hardy Biography

Jeffrey Nero Hardy, born August 31, 1977, is an American professional wrestler who has competed in major North American promotions. He has competed in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, where he holds the TNA World Tag Team Championship with his brother Matt. The tag team known as The Hardy Boyz has been recognized for helping revive tag team wrestling during the Attitude Era. Born and raised in Cameron, North Carolina, Hardy began his career in the Trampoline Wrestling Federation, a promotion he co-founded with his brother Matt. The Hardy Boyz worked as enhancement talent for the World Wrestling Federation from 1994 and received full-time contracts in 1998. After the team split in 2002, Jeff established himself as a prominent singles competitor. He captured his first world championship in 2008, winning the WWE Championship and later holding the TNA World Heavyweight Championship three times.
