Jaylen Waddle Biography

Jaylen Waddle was born on November 25, 1998, and is an American professional football wide receiver in the National Football League. He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide and was selected sixth overall by the Miami Dolphins in the 2021 NFL draft. Waddle has played his first five NFL seasons with the Miami Dolphins before being traded to the Denver Broncos in 2026. On September 29, 2018, he recorded three receptions for 138 yards and two receiving touchdowns, plus a 63-yard punt return for a touchdown against Louisiana. Waddle returned to the Crimson Tide for his sophomore season in 2019 after a standout freshman year. In the 2020 season, which was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he achieved at least 120 receiving yards in each of his first four games. On January 14, 2021, he announced he would forgo his senior season at Alabama to enter the 2021 NFL draft.
