Jameson Williams Biography

Jameson Demetri Williams, born on March 26, 2001, is an American professional football wide receiver who has played in the National Football League. He began his collegiate career at Ohio State before transferring to the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2021, where he earned All-American recognition. Williams was selected by the Detroit Lions in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft. As a junior, he recorded 36 receptions for 1,062 yards and 15 touchdowns, and he returned three kickoffs for touchdowns. He competed in track at Cardinal Ritter, winning back-to-back Class 3 state titles in the 300 meter hurdles and setting the state record. Jameson Williams started his college football journey at Ohio State University. In the 2021 Sugar Bowl, he scored a touchdown on a 45-yard reception against Clemson during the College Football Playoffs Semifinal.
