Jake Butt Biography

Jonathan Duane Jake Butt was born on July 11, 1995, and played as a tight end in the National Football League. Jake Butt played his collegiate football career at the University of Michigan. Butt was selected by the Denver Broncos in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL draft. In 2022 Jake Butt transitioned into sports media, joining the Big Ten Network as a broadcast analyst. During his high school career, he recorded 96 receptions for 1,361 yards with 20 touchdowns and also made 142 tackles and 20.5 sacks. He enrolled at the University of Michigan in 2013 and began his collegiate football career that year. On November 30, 2013, he caught five passes for 85 yards and a touchdown in a 42–41 loss to Ohio State.
