Ickey Woods, born February 28, 1966, played as a running back for the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL from 1988 to 1991. Ickey Woods competed in college football as a member of the UNLV Rebels team. As a freshman in 1984, Woods rushed nine times for 53 yards and one touchdown in a 30-13 victory over the Toledo Rockets in the California Bowl. In his senior year of 1987, he led the nation in rushing with 1,658 yards and averaged 6.4 yards per attempt. Woods rushed for more than 100 yards in nine games and over 200 yards in three games during 1987, earning first-team All Big West honors. He tore his left ACL during the second game of the 1989 season, a 41-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 1990, Woods recorded 64 rushes for 268 yards, six touchdowns, and 20 receptions for 162 yards.
