Hendon Hooker Biography

Alan Hendon Hooker, born January 13, 1998, is an American professional football quarterback for the Tennessee Titans in the National Football League. He played college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies and Tennessee Volunteers, earning SEC Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2022. Hooker was selected by the Detroit Lions in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft. At Dudley High School, he led his team to two state championships, earning 2016 4A state championship MVP with six touchdowns. He was named starting quarterback in 2019 after Ryan Willis posted seven interceptions in four games. Hooker helped Virginia Tech secure a spot in the 2019 Belk Bowl against Kentucky. During the 2020 season, he appeared in eight of the Hokies’ 11 games.
