Gregory Rousseau, born on April 5, 2000, is an American professional football linebacker who has played for the Buffalo Bills in the National Football League. He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes, contributing to their defensive unit. As a redshirt freshman in 2019, he recorded 15.5 sacks and earned all-conference honors, winning the ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year award. Rousseau was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft. During Week 2 of the 2021 season, he earned NFL Rookie of the Week nominations after recording five tackles and two sacks. On October 10, 2021, he made his first career interception during a Week 5 game against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, earning AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors. In his rookie season, he finished with 50 total tackles, four sacks, one interception, and four passes defended.
