Grant Delpit, born September 20, 1998, is an American professional football safety who has played for the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League. He played college football for the LSU Tigers, earning consensus All-American honors and winning the Jim Thorpe Award in 2019. Delpit was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. Following a junior season that included a national championship and the Jim Thorpe Award, he decided to forgo his senior year and enter the 2020 NFL draft. NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein ranked him as the second best safety prospect and 33rd overall in the draft. On September 19, 2021, he made his regular season debut, recording six combined tackles, a forced fumble, and a sack in a 21–31 win over the Houston Texans. On September 11, 2022, he started in the Browns’ season-opener against the Carolina Panthers, recording three combined tackles, a pass deflection, and an interception in a 26–24 victory.
