Frank Kaminsky Biography

Frank Kaminsky, born April 4, 1993, plays professional basketball for Alvark Tokyo in the Japanese B.League. He played college basketball for the Wisconsin Badgers, representing the university in NCAA competition. During his college career, Kaminsky set the Wisconsin single-game record for points with 43 in a game. He was awarded the unanimous men's National College Player of the Year honor in 2015. Kaminsky was selected ninth overall by the Charlotte Hornets in the 2015 NBA draft. He appeared in 32 games during his NBA stint, starting the first two contests of the season. On March 29, 2014, he recorded 28 points and 11 rebounds in overtime to help Wisconsin defeat #1 seeded Arizona 64–63.
