Eric Dorsey Biography

Eric Hall Dorsey, born August 5, 1964, played as a defensive end in the NFL for seven seasons. He started in Super Bowl XXV as a key contributor for the New York Giants. Selected 19th overall in the 1986 NFL draft, he played college football for Notre Dame. At McLean High School in 1980, he anchored a 10-1 team and played nearly every position. In 2011, he was inducted into the McLean High School Hall of Fame despite not attending. New York Giants records list him with 45 total tackles, 33 solo tackles, and one forced fumble in 1992. NFL career stats show 89 regular-season games, 57 starts, seven sacks, and three opponent fumble recoveries.
