Emmanuel Sanders Biography

Emmanuel Niamiah Sanders, born on March 17, 1987, played 12 seasons as a professional football wide receiver in the NFL. He played college football for the SMU Mustangs and was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2010 NFL draft. Emmanuel Sanders played in the NFL for the Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints, and Buffalo Bills, winning Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos. In high school, he earned first-team All-District honors at running back, wide receiver, and safety. As a redshirt freshman, Sanders scored his first collegiate touchdown against Sam Houston on September 16, 2006. On October 20, 2007, he recorded eight receptions for 155 yards and two touchdowns against Tulane. On August 29, 2008, he had eight receptions for 121 yards and one touchdown in the first game of the season against Rice.
