Dylan Crews Biography

Dylan Crews, born on February 26, 2002, is an American professional baseball outfielder who has played for the Washington Nationals in Major League Baseball. He played college baseball for the LSU Tigers, winning the 2023 College World Series and earning the Golden Spikes Award that same year. Crews was selected by the Washington Nationals with the second overall pick in the 2023 MLB draft and made his MLB debut in 2024. He has competed for USA Baseball on both the 14U and 18U teams, including a gold medal with the 18U squad. Crews was regarded as a top prospect ahead of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft. MLB Pipeline ranked him as the top available draft prospect and projected him to be chosen first overall by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He began the 2024 season with Harrisburg, posting a .274 batting average, .343 on-base percentage, and .446 slugging percentage with five home runs, 38 RBI, and 15 stolen bases in 51 games.
