Dylan Cozens Biography

Dylan Cozens, born on February 9, 2001, is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who has played as a centre for the Ottawa Senators in the National Hockey League. Cozens was chosen seventh overall in the 2019 NHL entry draft by the Buffalo Sabres. During his final season in the Western Hockey League, Cozens earned First Team All-Star honours and finished as the runner-up for the Four Broncos Memorial Trophy. He made his NHL debut with the Buffalo Sabres during the 2020–21 season, recording a point in that game. After initially playing on the wing during his rookie season, Cozens transitioned back to his natural centre position following the departures of Sam Reinhart and Jack Eichel. In the 2015–16 season with Delta, Cozens scored 19 goals and accumulated 31 points across 25 regular season games, and added five goals and six points in three playoff games. He competed in the 2016 John Reid Memorial Bantam Tournament with the Delta team.
