Drew Bledsoe, born February 14, 1972, played 14 seasons in the NFL as a professional quarterback, primarily with the New England Patriots. He earned Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year and second-team All-American honors in 1992 while playing college football for the Washington State Cougars. Selected first overall in the 1993 NFL draft, Bledsoe led the Patriots to four playoff appearances and two division titles during his tenure. He received three Pro Bowl selections, including the honor in 1995, making him the youngest quarterback to earn the distinction. After his time with the Patriots, Bledsoe played three seasons with the Buffalo Bills and two with the Dallas Cowboys. He competed in college for the Washington State Cougars, where he played quarterback throughout his collegiate career. In 1992, Bledsoe led Washington State to a 9–3 record and recorded 476 passing yards in a 31–28 Copper Bowl victory over Utah, earning MVP honors.
