Donovan Jamal McNabb, born November 25, 1976, played 13 seasons in the NFL as a professional quarterback, primarily with the Philadelphia Eagles. He earned three Big East Offensive Player of the Year awards and four first-team All-Big East honors during his college career at Syracuse University. Selected second overall in the 1999 NFL draft, McNabb spent 11 seasons as the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. From 1999 to 2009, he led the Eagles to eight playoff appearances, five division titles, and five NFC Championship Games, including a Super Bowl XXXIX appearance. McNabb ranks among the top quarterbacks in rushing yards and is one of only four to record over 30,000 passing yards, 200 touchdown passes, 3,000 rushing yards, and 20 rushing touchdowns. Only Syracuse University and the University of Nebraska offered him scholarships to play college football as a quarterback. After redshirting in 1994, he started every game in college, finishing with a 35–14 record.
