Dion Dawkins Biography

Dion Dawkins, born on April 26, 1994, is an American professional football offensive tackle who has played in the National Football League. He played college football for the Temple Owls after transferring from a commitment to the Cincinnati Bearcats. Dawkins attended Rahway High School in Rahway, New Jersey, where he earned the nickname the Shnowman and signed with Temple in January 2013. He played at Temple from 2013 to 2016, starting 41 of 44 career games during his collegiate career. Dawkins was named a First-team All-American Athletic Conference selection following his senior season. He received an invitation to the Senior Bowl and started at guard for the North team. The Buffalo Bills selected Dawkins in the second round with the 63rd overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
