Devon Achane Biography

De'Von Achane, born October 13, 2001, is an American professional football running back who has played in the National Football League. He played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies and was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft. On December 18, 2019, Achane committed to Texas A&M University to pursue his football career. In 2021, he was named MVP of the Orange Bowl after rushing for 140 yards on 12 carries and scoring two touchdowns in a 41–27 win over North Carolina. Achane made a 96-yard kickoff return during a game that helped Texas A&M defeat No. 1 Alabama 41–38. In 2022, he became the starting running back for Texas A&M and achieved a career-high of 1,102 rushing yards. He has also competed for the Texas A&M Aggies track and field team as a sprinter.
