Devin Hester Biography

Devin Hester, born November 4, 1982, is an American former professional football player who played as a wide receiver and return specialist in the NFL. As the only primary return specialist enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Hester is recognized as the greatest return specialist in NFL history. He was selected by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2006 NFL draft. Hester played for the Atlanta Falcons, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Seattle Seahawks during his 11-season NFL career. He was named to the NFL All-Decade Team for both the 2000s and 2010s. Fred Taylor of the University of Florida was Hester's favorite athlete. Hester returned a kick for an 80-yard touchdown during the 2002 CaliFlorida Bowl.
