Dennis Rodman Biography

Dennis Keith Rodman, born on May 13, 1961, is an American former professional basketball player. Rodman is recognized for his defensive and rebounding abilities, with the NBA website noting he is arguably the best rebounding forward in NBA history. In October 2021, Rodman was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, honoring him as one of the league's greatest players of all time. He has appeared in action films such as Double Team in 1997 and Simon Sez in 1999, and hosted his own TV show, The Rodman World Tour. Rodman became eligible for the 1986 NBA draft after his college career. During the 1987–88 season, he averaged 11.6 points and 8.7 rebounds, starting in 32 of 82 regular season games. In the 1988–89 season, he averaged 9.0 points and 9.4 rebounds in 27 minutes, earning a spot on the All-Defensive Team, the first of eight such selections in his career.
