Demaryius Thomas Biography

Demaryius Thomas, born on December 25, 1987, played as a wide receiver in the NFL for 10 seasons, primarily with the Denver Broncos. He earned third-team All-American honors during his senior year at Georgia Tech in 2009. Thomas was selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2010 NFL draft. Demaryius Thomas served as a wide receiver for the Raiders during the tenure of head coach John Kenny. As a junior in 2004, Thomas recorded 32 receptions for 330 yards and three touchdowns. He was recognized as an all-region and all-Heart of Georgia selection, and was named to the Class AA all-state first team by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Under head coach Chan Gailey, Thomas sat out the 2006 season as a redshirt freshman.
