Dawson Knox Biography

Dawson Alan Knox, born on November 14, 1996, is an American professional football tight end who has played for the Buffalo Bills in the National Football League. He played college football for the Ole Miss Rebels and was selected by the Bills in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft. Knox joined the University of Mississippi in 2015 as a walk-on fullback before transitioning to tight end. He signed his rookie contract with the Buffalo Bills on June 14, 2019, beginning his professional career. On September 22, 2019, in Week 3, Knox caught his first NFL touchdown pass from quarterback Josh Allen against the Cincinnati Bengals. In that game, he recorded three receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown as the Bills secured a 21–17 victory. During the 2020 season, he played in 12 games, starting seven, and recorded 24 receptions for 288 yards and three touchdowns.
