D.K. Metcalf Biography

DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf, born on December 14, 1997, is an American professional football wide receiver who has played in the National Football League. He played college football at Ole Miss before being chosen by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft. Metcalf was rated as a four-star recruit and ranked as the No. 14 wide receiver prospect by Rivals.com prior to his college career. His first regular season game occurred on September 8, 2019, against the Cincinnati Bengals, where he recorded four receptions for 89 receiving yards in a 21–20 Seahawks victory. Metcalf was ranked 81st by his peers on the NFL Top 100 Players list for 2020. In Week 3 of the 2021 season, he caught six passes for 107 yards during a game against the Vikings, resulting in a 17–30 defeat. Metcalf and the Seahawks began the 2023 season with a home loss to the Rams on September 10.
