D'Andre Swift Biography

D'Andre Tiyon Swift, born on January 14, 1999, is an American professional football running back who has played in the National Football League. He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs before being selected by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. D'Andre Swift joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023, earned his first Pro Bowl nod, and later signed with the Chicago Bears in 2024. During his junior year, Swift achieved five games with more than 100 rushing yards and scored a touchdown in four straight contests. D'Andre Swift scored his first professional rushing touchdown on September 13, 2020, and later failed to catch a potential game-winning pass against the Chicago Bears. On October 18, D'Andre Swift recorded 116 rushing yards and two touchdowns versus the Jacksonville Jaguars, achieving the first 100-yard game by a Lions rookie running back since 1989. For the 2021 season, Swift played alongside Jamaal Williams in the Lions' backfield.
