Christian Watson Biography

Christian Justus Watson, born on May 12, 1999, is an American professional football wide receiver who has played for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League. He played college football for the North Dakota State Bison and was chosen by the Packers in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft. Watson grew from 5-foot-9 as a freshman to 6-foot-2 by the end of his senior season at North Dakota State. He received limited recruitment attention after high school, primarily due to minimal playing time prior to his senior year. As a redshirt sophomore, he recorded 34 receptions for 732 yards and six touchdowns, earning second-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference honors. He helped the North Dakota State Bison win the 2021 FCS national championship with a 38–10 victory over Montana State. He is the first wide receiver from North Dakota State University to be drafted in the past thirty-seven years.
