Christian Pulisic Biography

Christian Mate Pulisic, born on September 18, 1998, is an American professional soccer player who has played as a winger, attacking midfielder, and forward for AC Milan and the United States national team. He has been recognized as one of the top North American players in history, earning the nickname 'Captain America' due to his skill in dribbling, direct play, and creating opportunities. Raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Pulisic began his professional journey at Borussia Dortmund, advancing rapidly through the club’s youth academy after participating in only 15 youth matches. In January 2019, he transferred to Chelsea in the Premier League for a reported $73 million, becoming the most expensive North American player in history and beginning his tenure with the club in the 2019–20 season. Pulisic joined AC Milan in June 2023 and contributed to the team’s victory in the 2024–25 Supercoppa Italiana. He represented the United States at the under-15 and under-17 levels before making his senior national team debut in March 2016 at the age of 17.
