Chris Webber Biography

Mayce Edward Christopher Webber III, known as "C-Webb," is an American former professional basketball player born on March 1, 1973. Webber has played 15 seasons in the National Basketball Association, primarily with the Sacramento Kings. Selected first overall in the 1993 NBA draft, he earned NBA Rookie of the Year honors and was named to five NBA All-Star teams and five All-NBA Teams. He has served as an on-air commentator for NBA broadcasts and has taught at Wake Forest University and Morehouse College. As a senior in high school, he averaged 29.4 points and 13 rebounds per game. After graduating from Detroit Country Day School, he spent two years at the University of Michigan. The University of Michigan also forfeited the entire 1992–93 season and removed records associated with him from its official archives.
