Chris Jericho Biography

Christopher Keith Irvine, known professionally as Chris Jericho, is an American-Canadian professional wrestler, rock musician, and actor born in 1970. Jericho has competed in All Elite Wrestling since 2019, where he is recognized by his first name alone. He has captured the Undisputed WWF Championship once, the WCW/World Championship twice, and the World Heavyweight Championship three times. After leaving WWE in 2018, he joined New Japan Pro-Wrestling and won the IWGP Intercontinental Championship once, becoming the first wrestler to hold both the WWE and IWGP versions of that title. During his tenure in AEW, Jericho has won the ROH World Championship twice and the FTW Championship. In 1999, he became the lead vocalist for the heavy metal band Fozzy, which released their self-titled debut album the following year. Jericho has also appeared on multiple television programs, including the 2011 season of Dancing with the Stars.
