Chris Davis Biography

Chris Lynn Davis Jr., born on November 4, 1990, is an American former professional football player who played as a cornerback in the National Football League. He played college football for the Auburn Tigers, earning first-team All-American honors in 2013. During the 2013 Iron Bowl, he returned a missed 57-yard field goal attempt by Alabama's Adam Griffith for a 109-yard touchdown with one second remaining. As a senior in 2013, he was recognized as an All-American by the Sporting News and CBS Sports for his performance as a return specialist. Despite being projected as a 4th–5th round draft pick, he went undrafted in the 2014 NFL draft. He has played in the NFL, spending time returning kicks and averaging 25.1 yards per return. In 2018, he signed with the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of American Football for the 2019 season.
