Glenn Allan "Chico" Resch, born on July 10, 1948, is a Canadian-American former professional ice hockey player and television sportscaster. Resch competed as a goaltender in the National Hockey League from 1973 to 1987, capturing a Stanley Cup with the New York Islanders during the 1979–80 season. He began his ice hockey career as a goaltender for the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs. The 1974–75 season marked Resch's first full season in the National Hockey League. During the 1975–76 season, Resch appeared in 44 games, recording 23 wins, 11 losses, eight ties, seven shutouts, and a 2.07 goals against average, earning him a Second All-Star team selection. In the 1978–79 season, Resch and a teammate helped the Islanders achieve the league's best regular season record, and he received Second All-Star team recognition once more. On March 10, 1981, Resch was traded to the Colorado Rockies along with Steve Tambellini in exchange for Mike McEwen and Jari Kaarela.
