Cameron Tyler Jordan, born on July 10, 1989, is an American professional football defensive end who has played for the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League. He played college football at the University of California, where he was selected by the Saints in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft. Jordan has been named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team, earned eight Pro Bowl selections, and three All-Pro honors, while holding the Saints' all-time franchise sack record and ranking 17th all-time in sacks. During his high school career in 2007, he captured the state title in the discus with a throw of 53.54 meters, and placed 10th in the shot put with a throw of 14.01 meters. Jordan primarily played defensive end for the University of California at Berkeley during his college football career. As a senior in 2010, he earned first-team All-Pac-10 Conference honors and was named an honorable mention All-American by Pro Football Weekly, following two prior honorable mention All-Pac-10 seasons in 2008 and 2009. On January 29, 2011, he participated in the Senior Bowl, representing the North team that lost to the South with a final score of 24–10.
