Cam Skattebo Biography

Cameron Skattebo, born February 5, 2002, is an American professional football running back who has played in the National Football League. He has competed in college football for the Sacramento State Hornets and the Arizona State Sun Devils. Skattebo was chosen by the New York Giants in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft. As a freshman in 2021, he recorded 520 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 57 carries, earning third-team all-Big Sky recognition. In 2022, he accumulated 1,382 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, added a touchdown through a pass, and returned an onside kick for a touchdown. In a 2024 matchup against Mississippi State, he rushed for 262 yards, including a 39-yard run that secured the victory. During the 2025 Peach Bowl versus Texas, he achieved 284 total yards across rushing, receiving, and passing, with two rushing touchdowns, a two-point conversion, and a passing touchdown, while setting the Arizona State single-season record for touchdowns from scrimmage.
