Brian Keith Bosworth, born on March 9, 1965, is an American football player and actor who played three seasons in the National Football League with the Seattle Seahawks. He was known by the nickname 'the Boz' during his college football career at the University of Oklahoma, where he earned two Dick Butkus Awards and helped secure a victory in the 1986 Orange Bowl. After concluding his playing career, Bosworth transitioned into acting and has since appeared in various film and television roles. He was honored with induction into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2015 for his contributions to the sport. Bosworth played as a strong-side inside linebacker during his college years, demonstrating improved performance in high-stakes games. In October 1999, he was selected for the Sports Illustrated NCAA Football All-Century Team, one of nine linebackers named to the roster. His participation in the 1987 Orange Bowl was prevented due to a suspension resulting from steroid use.
