Braxton Miller Biography

Braxton Marcellus Miller, born on November 30, 1992, is an American former professional football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League. He was chosen by the Houston Texans during the third round of the 2016 NFL draft. Miller committed to Ohio State University on June 3, 2010, under the leadership of head coach Jim Tressel. He began the 2011 season as a backup quarterback, then entered the game against Akron, completing 8 of 12 passes for 130 yards and one touchdown in a 42–0 win. He did not participate in the second game of the season, a 27–22 win over Toledo, due to a decision made by interim head coach Luke Fickell. Miller saw limited action in the third game, a 24–6 loss to the Miami Hurricanes. He was named the starting quarterback for Ohio State's fourth game, which was against Colorado.
