Braelon Allen Biography

Braelon Allen, born on January 20, 2004, is an American professional football running back who has played in the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and was chosen by the New York Jets in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL draft. Allen committed to the University of Wisconsin–Madison on July 14, 2020, becoming the first recruit for the 2022 class. He appeared exclusively on special teams during his first college game. After the team began the season with a 1–3 record, he began receiving playing time alongside starting tailback Chez Mellusi. In the 2021 Las Vegas Bowl, Allen rushed for 159 yards and earned the game’s most valuable player award. On November 28, 2023, he announced his decision to enter the 2024 NFL Draft.
