Bode Miller Biography

Samuel Bode Miller, born October 12, 1977, is an American former World Cup alpine ski racer. He has earned Olympic and World Championship gold medals, two overall World Cup titles in 2005 and 2008, and is the most successful male American alpine ski racer in history. Miller secured six Winter Olympic medals, including gold in super combined, silver in super-G, and bronze in downhill at Vancouver 2010, and another bronze in super-G at Sochi 2014. He is one of five skiers to win Olympic medals across four different disciplines, matching achievements by Kjetil André Aamodt and female racers Anja Pärson, Janica Kostelić, and Katja Seizinger. His career concluded with six discipline World Cup titles, four World Championship titles in different events, and a silver in super-G, while he also transitioned to horse racing during his final years. Miller has engaged in multiple ventures as a founder, strategic advisor, and investor throughout and after his ski career. He was the initial investor in lifestyle and nutrition brand Onnit in 2010, a company established by his close friend Aubrey Marcus.
