Bo Bichette Biography

Bo Joseph Bichette, born March 5, 1998, is a Brazilian-American professional baseball infielder who has played in Major League Baseball. He has competed for the Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Mets during his MLB career. Bichette was chosen by the Toronto Blue Jays in the second round of the 2016 MLB draft and began his professional career in the organization. His older brother is Dante Bichette Jr., and he was named after the athlete Bo Jackson. He received recognition as the Gatorade/USA Today Florida Player of the Year and was awarded Florida's Mr. Baseball honor. He committed to play college baseball at Arizona State University for the Sun Devils before entering professional baseball. He started his professional journey in 2017 by being assigned to the Class-A Lansing Lugnuts.
