Austin Reaves Biography

Austin Reaves, born on May 29, 1998, is an American professional basketball player who has competed in the National Basketball Association. He has played college basketball for the Wichita State Shockers and later transferred to the Oklahoma Sooners. During high school, Reaves scored 73 points in a triple-overtime victory against Forrest City High School. He earned state tournament MVP honors after averaging 43.3 points across four games. Before beginning his freshman year at Wichita State, Reaves underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. On March 7, 2020, he recorded a career-high 41 points, six assists, and five rebounds in a win over TCU. Reaves declared for the 2021 NBA draft, choosing to leave college before completing his eligibility.
