Austin Bryant, born on November 12, 1996, is an American former professional football player who played as a defensive end in the National Football League. He played college football for the Clemson Tigers, contributing to their defensive line during his tenure. As a true freshman in 2015, he appeared in 13 games, recording 22 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He earned a starting role for the first time during his junior year in 2017. Bryant was selected by the Detroit Lions in the fourth round with the 117th overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft. He was designated for return on October 30, 2019, and resumed practicing with the team. Austin Bryant remained unsigned for a reserve/future contract and concluded the season as an unrestricted free agent.
