Antonio Michael Freeman, born on May 27, 1972, is an American former professional football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League. He completed his high school education at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and later played college football at Virginia Tech. Freeman recorded 121 receptions for 2,207 yards and 22 touchdowns during his four-year collegiate career at Virginia Tech. He was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 1995 NFL draft with the 90th overall pick. Freeman's career peak occurred during his initial time with the Green Bay Packers, including a victory in Super Bowl XXXI against the New England Patriots. During that Super Bowl, he caught an 81-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Brett Favre, which was the longest in Super Bowl history at the time. In 1998, he recorded 84 receptions for 1,424 receiving yards, leading the league in yardage and earning his sole Pro Bowl selection.
