Anthony Santander Biography

Anthony Roger Santander, born on October 19, 1994, is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder who has competed in Major League Baseball. He has played for the Baltimore Orioles during his MLB career. Santander made his MLB debut in 2017 and earned All-Star recognition in 2024. In 2016, he played for the Lynchburg Hillcats, posting a .290 batting average, 20 home runs, and 95 RBIs. The Baltimore Orioles acquired him from the Cleveland Indians via the 2016 Rule 5 draft. On August 25, 2019, he recorded his first five-hit game in an 8–3 home victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. During 37 games with the Orioles in 2020, he batted .261 with a .315 on-base percentage, a .575 slugging percentage, 11 home runs, and 32 RBIs.
