Anthony Richardson Biography

Anthony Dashawn Richardson Sr. was born on May 22, 2002, and is an American professional football quarterback who has played in the National Football League. He played college football for the Florida Gators and was selected by the Indianapolis Colts with the fourth overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft. Richardson played quarterback for Eastside High School's football team during his high school years. During his high school career, he recorded 4,633 passing yards and 37 passing touchdowns, along with 1,633 rushing yards and 41 rushing touchdowns. In his first year at Florida in 2020, he appeared in four games, completing one of two passes for 27 yards with a touchdown and an interception. In 2022, he became the starting quarterback for the Gators, replacing Jones and completing 10 of 19 passes for 167 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions, including a rushing touchdown. After concluding the 2022 season, Anthony Richardson declared his intention to join the 2023 NFL draft.
