Andrew Luck Biography

Andrew Austen Luck, born on September 12, 1989, is an American football executive and former professional quarterback who has served as general manager of the Stanford Cardinal. He has played in the National Football League for seven seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. During his college football career at Stanford, Luck was recognized as one of the top draft prospects and won the Maxwell, Walter Camp, and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm awards in 2011. He was selected first overall in the 2012 NFL draft by the Indianapolis Colts. In his first season, Luck established rookie records for passing yards in a game and season, leading his team from a 2–14 record to an 11–5 record and a playoff berth. His performance earned him recognition as Comeback Player of the Year and a selection to his fourth Pro Bowl. Andrew Luck spent part of his early life in London, England and Frankfurt, Germany, where he attended Frankfurt International School, due to his father Oliver Luck’s prior role as general manager of two World League of American Football teams.
